Cuneo, Piazza Galimberti 9.30am, start 10am

The itinerary of La Mangia and Pedala 2020 will be announced shortly. Below is an example of the 2019 program.

Departure from Piazza Galimberti at 10 am, the 2019 edition will touch Bernezzo, Valgrana, Monterosso and Pradleves to return to Cuneo, along secondary roads in nature, away from traffic and chaos. Two food and wine stages are planned in collaboration with Coldiretti Campagna amica and a cultural view taken care of by the FAI.

First stop on the Ceaglio di Bernezzo farm for a genuine breakfast and to visit the company. FAI volunteers will then be available to participants as narrators at the Chapel of Saints Bernardo and Mauro in the Ferreri hamlet, in Valgrana, illustrating its medieval origins and the valuable frescoes dated 1473, attributed to Pietro da Saluzzo, known as Maestro del Villar. “A way to bring families and an audience that already has a great environmental sensitivity to the art world, made up of cyclists who choose to discover the area by bicycle”.

We will continue to Pradleves to stop at the producers of the high Valle Grana where we can taste the Castelmagno and learn about the production and maturing procedures.

Return to Cuneo around 3.30pm.
