The Granfondo La Fausto Coppi is worth over €2 million for the region: the study by Politecnico di Torino

A recent article in Il Sole 24 Ore, authored by Riccardo Barlaam, explores the results of the study on the impact of the Granfondo La Fausto Coppi, commissioned from the Politecnico di Torino in collaboration with Confindustria Cuneo, eVISO, and the Chamber of Commerce of Cuneo.

The analysis highlights an overall economic impact of over €1.9 million generated during the event weekend, with a multiplier effect of 10.8 times the initial investment. In addition to these figures, the study shows significant environmental indicators — with per-participant emissions below international benchmarks — and social benefits, thanks to broad international participation (42 countries) and a return rate of over 50%.
