20 June 2025
On the occasion of La Granfondo La Fausto Coppi Generali, on June 27 and 28 in Piazza Galimberti in Cuneo, it will be possible to participate in a special activity promoted by LVIA – International Association of Lay Volunteers: the escape room “IN CIBO CIVITAS: MISSIONE FOOdTURO”.
The initiative takes place as part of the Festival Globalmente – Cuneo for Global Citizenship Education and is designed to raise awareness among citizens and visitors on the issues of sustainability and the right to food.
The activity, suitable for all ages and with a free donation, takes place in sessions lasting approximately 45 minutes. Individual registration is required for each participant. Children under 14 must participate accompanied by an adult.

An immersive experience to reflect on the future
The escape room offers a journey through time and opens with an imaginary scenario, but strongly inspired by current challenges:
“In 2200, those who remained on Earth live in an unlivable reality: the earth is arid, polluted and devastated by storms. […] When there was a need for appropriate choices, humanity failed. But perhaps there is a chance for change: going back in time to make different decisions.”
Through puzzles and collective choices, participants will be projected into the early years of the 21st century with the aim of building a more sustainable future, in particular with regard to the food supply chain.
The escape room was designed by a group of 35 students from the “G. Pascoli” high school in Florence, and created by LVIA as part of the “In Cibo Civitas” project, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
