A Friday of enthusiasm and passion at La Fausto Coppi Generali

The Friday afternoon of the Granfondo La Fausto Coppi Generali opened with great energy in a lively and colorful Piazza Galimberti. The official inauguration of the village saw the enthusiastic participation of athletes, enthusiasts and the curious, welcomed by a rich presence of stands of sponsors and partners. The food area, curated by I Piaceri di Carrù, offered local specialties, while the Teo Bike in collaboration with Balocco stood out, a real attraction for the little ones.

The Campus Salute&Benessere, promoted by Rotary Club Cuneo 1925 together with Generali Agenzia Grande Cuneo, Fondazione Ospedale Cuneo Onlus, CRI and DoctorApp, offered screenings and useful advice for the well-being of athletes and non-athletes. The first talk of the Cuneo Bike Festival was also held in the afternoon, followed by the engaging Run the Night organized by Karhu with Atletica Roata Chiusani and the Associazione C’è da fare di Paolo Kessisoglu.

From 4 pm, the athletes of the three events – Mediofondo, Granfondo and Fauniera Classic – began collecting their race packs. A brilliant and vibrant atmosphere accompanied every moment, a perfect prelude to a weekend of great sport and cycling passion.
